Your email is used to deliver files, send occasional messages, and answer support questions. Analytics and advertising pixels help us understand which pages are useful. 1. Who we are

SleepInTen is a product of {{COMPANY_LEGAL_NAME}}, a Romanian company (SRL). We are the "controller" of your personal data. Where the checkout is used, Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle") acts as the merchant of record and processes payment data independently — see paddle.com/legal/privacy.

2. What we collect

  • Order information: your email, name, transaction identifier, product purchased, and post-purchase library access token. Payment card details are handled by Paddle and never reach our servers.
  • Communications: emails you send us and our replies.
  • Lead-capture data: if you submit the "3 AM Wake-Up Fix" form or similar, we collect the fields you provide (email, name) plus UTM parameters and the referring URL.
  • Device and analytics data: browser type, operating system, general location (country/region from IP), pages viewed, referring URL, and events fired via Google Analytics 4 and the Meta Pixel.

3. Why we use it

  • To deliver the product you bought and re-issue signed download links.
  • To answer support questions and issue refunds.
  • To send transactional email (order confirmation, delivery link, refund confirmation).
  • To send marketing email, if you opted in — you can unsubscribe from any email in one click.
  • To measure which pages, videos, and offers are useful, and improve them.
  • To detect fraud and comply with legal or tax obligations.

4. Legal bases (GDPR / UK GDPR)

  • Contract — order fulfillment, delivery, refunds.
  • Consent — marketing email, non-essential cookies, advertising pixels. You can withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legitimate interests — fraud prevention, service security, aggregated analytics.
  • Legal obligation — tax records, accounting, responding to lawful requests.

5. Third parties we share data with

We share only what each processor needs to do its job. Each is bound by a data-processing agreement.

  • Paddle.com Market Limited — merchant of record; processes payments and issues invoices. Card descriptor on your statement: SLEEPINTEN.COM.
  • Email service provider — delivers transactional email and, where consented, marketing email.
  • Analytics — Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited).
  • Advertising — Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited) when tracking is consented.
  • Content delivery / hosting — our website and audio files are served through commercial hosting and CDN providers.

We do not sell personal data. We do not "share" personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising in the sense used by California law.

6. Cookies and pixels

SleepInTen pages use three cookie categories:

  • Essential — session and preferences. Required for the site to function.
  • Analytics — Google Analytics 4 for aggregated usage patterns.
  • Marketing — Meta Pixel for measuring ad performance and audience matching.

Analytics and marketing cookies fire only where consent is given, in jurisdictions that require it. You can withdraw consent at any time in your browser settings, or through the site's cookie banner where present.

7. How long we keep data

  • Order records: 7 years, as required for accounting and tax law.
  • Support emails: 3 years from last correspondence.
  • Marketing lists: until you unsubscribe.
  • Analytics data: default GA4 retention (currently 14 months).

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. To exercise any right, write to {{SUPPORT_EMAIL}}. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9. International transfers

Some of our processors are located outside the European Economic Area. When we transfer data internationally, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent adequacy mechanism.

10. Security

We use signed access tokens, HMAC-verified webhooks, encryption in transit (TLS), and access controls on internal systems. No system is perfectly secure — please choose a strong password on any external service that connects to your email inbox.

11. Children

SleepInTen is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the product, our processors, or applicable law change. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the current version. Material changes will be highlighted at the top of the page for at least 30 days.
